Ethos Facilities was awarded the M&E maintenance contract for the Royal Society of Medicine’s Grade II listed London premises in March 2024, following a competitive tender process. The contract, valued at £750k per annum, covers all mechanical, electrical, and building fabric maintenance services, delivered through Ethos’s self-delivery model supported by our accredited supply chain.

Mobilisation focused on asset verification, CAFM configuration and TUPE transfer, ensuring a seamless transition with no service disruption. Our CAFM platform provides real time visibility of PPM compliance, reactive performance and cost control, tied to clear KPIs and governance reporting.

A dedicated on site engineering team, supported by mobile specialists and a Contract Manager, delivers planned maintenance, reactive works and statutory compliance testing. Ethos’s sustainability division works closely with RSM’s Estates team to identify energy and carbon reduction opportunities through data-led lifecycle analysis, energy utilisation indexing, and the implementation of low-energy technologies.

Ethos’s partnership approach and transparent reporting structure have enhanced operational efficiency, improved compliance performance, and reduced reactive maintenance to below 30%. Through proactive maintenance planning and strong communication, we continue to safeguard the RSM’s heritage environment while supporting their long-term sustainability objectives.
